ZURICH — Nov. 20, 2025 — Egon Zehnder, the premier global leadership advisory and executive search firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Bolin as Global Leader of its Industrial Practice Group, the firm’s largest practice. He succeeds Antonio Ianora, who reached his term limit as practice leader and will continue to be an integral part of the group.
The Industrial Practice Group is the firm’s largest practice, with its roots in the sectors that power and connect the world. The practice spans the globe, supporting organizations across energy, automotive and mobility, machinery and industrial technology, building components, mining and metals and chemical and process sectors. With consultants in every major market, the Industrial Practice Group partners with some of the sector’s most influential organizations for CEO, board and C-suite succession planning and development, organizational transformation, spinoffs, M&A and new venture growth, and leadership assessments.
Bolin brings more than 20 years of experience in industrial transformation, operational strategy, and global leadership advisory. His work with leaders across the automotive, mobility, manufacturing, and infrastructure sectors gives him a vantage point on the forces that are reshaping how these organizations build, power and connect the world.
He steps into this role as industrial companies enter another transitional moment, where mobility electrification, automation, the ongoing energy transition and emerging industrial technology will create lasting change.
