Boudewijn Arts Egon Zehnder, Brussels


Boudewijn Arts focuses on C-level searches for industrial clients and offers deep expertise in board search, board effectiveness consulting, and executive assessment and development. Boudewijn joined Egon Zehnder in 2001 and led the firm’s global Chemical and Process Industries Practice from 2003 until 2014. He then relocated to Singapore, where he led Asian and global searches, provided senior level leadership development, and headedEgon Zehnder’s Industrial Practice in South Asia. He is passionate about development and as a Development Advisor accompanies executives to grow to higher levels of leadership. Boudewijn is now based in Brussels.


Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Boudewijn was a Partner with VentureBay, a new business incubator. Previously, he was a Manager with Arthur D. Little, based in Brussels, where he focused on process industries and cultural change. Earlier he was a Strategic Planner, based in Sydney, with Franki, a multinational construction group, where Boudewijn was responsible for Asia expansion. He started his career as an Assistant Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble.

Boudewijn earned an MA in Applied Economics and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Leuven, Belgium and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
