The Compliance Challenge

Legal, Regulatory & Compliance Professionals Practice Publishes First Issue of “Experts”
  • 31 January 2007

Thanks to the Practice’s increasing involvement in identifying and selecting Chief Compliance Officers, the Legal, Regulatory & Compliance Practice has become aware of how companies contend – some successfully, others less so – with the need for compliance and the organization of their compliance department.

The theme of compliance is approached from three angles: firstly an interview with Steven S. Reinemund, Chairman and former CEO of PepsiCo, Inc. presents his views on compliance and the role he envisages for his General Counsel. Secondly, five General Counsels from a wide range of industries and countries are requested to answer 3 questions on compliance. Finally, an expert analysis by Joost Maes, global head of Egon Zehnder’s Legal, Regulatory & Compliance Practice, provides some thoughts and insights into compliance based on the Practice’s own experience and encounters.

The Legal, Regulatory & Compliance Practice consists of a team of thirty consultants worldwide, which is presented in this brochure and remains at our clients’ disposal to discuss all of their needs and questions.
